Beaches in Orissa

Will be in Orissa in August, has anyone recommendations for nice beach spots? Would appreciate any suggestion.

From South to North:
Sonapur Beach
Gpalpur on sea
Aryapalli Beach
Balighai beach (near Puri)
Chandrabhaga beach (Konarak)
Ramchand beach
Paradid
Chandipur

Gopalpur- on -Sea...best beach.

There is a beach named Balihara-Chandi neafr Puri...is it same as Balighai?
Chandrabhaga is good to but too far away.

This is my first post, so hello to everybody.
I know now the best places on the Orissa coast to visit. Could anybody tell me, how the conditions of water are there? Anything about animals under water? Could I snorkle or dive there without problems? Are there any coral reefs there? Any dangers?
I would be grateful for any answers

Hi
my travelers place is close to an isolated beach where I dont exprience any danger other than undercurrent on specific days and even particular times of the day.
so far animals..am still looking for them.
the beach on Puri town is dirty ofcourse with a lot of vendors around.
The shiva beach behind me is a paradise of isolation.

Gopalpur on sea yes. But dont miss the great Chilka lake. Stay at Barkul & enjoy the largest backwater lake. The tiger prawns & crabs here is famous. Lots of birds in winter.

I m goin to gopalpur in feb.Can some1 plz suggest a hotel about Rs.600-800 double. Is sea pearl a good hotel?
