Of late, obsessive day dreams of building a nice house amidst the tea estates of Nilgiris and living there for the rest of my life. Gonna go check it out...

My dream is more like a memory when my boyfriend, who happens to be my favorite person in the entire world, and who also happens to be of Indian origin came to see me when I was studying in Pondicherry. He flew in from Holland and we stayed at the Banyan Beach resort. It was my first trip to India, but he had grown up in Mumbai, so he was so sweet trying to help me get acclimated. I can still see all the streets where we walked holding hands and I remember watching a big monsoon cloud form out over the sea. We'd watch the fishing boats and have a beer out on a straw mat and wait until all the stars came out. I can still smell the salty air.
