I just went to gokarna in my dream, it was full of umbrellas, barking guard dogs and big ugly hotelcomplexes, it all looked pretty dirty and sad.... There was a motorcycle race on the beach, all happening next to ohm beach. Scary nighmare.

A bit here and there, but mostly in Bombay. I actually helped Hugh Grant build a staircase there.

last night i had a dream that my phone rang (i was asleep in the dream) and when i answered, the young half franetic voice of a young woman declared "shiva is dead". she had heard that i was a counselor and wanted my help in deciphering the message. guess i'll get to work on that one.

Hi! Just last night...after reading Lonely Planet untill 3 A.M while planning our trip... I think I dreamed the whole night about being in the Delhi centrum. At least I felt so exhausted after waking up that I think I was there the whole NIGHT

Even after all the strange and shocking and just plain bizarre REAL things that have happened to me in India (not least among these was the morning I woke up to find a band of raunchy eunuchs in my drawing room) my mind does not dare to dream, or at least does not remember, any dream set in India. I've always wondered why this is as my dreams are usually quite prolific. Maybe Lotus is right - the waking life in India is enough! In fact, the only travel related dream I have (repeatedly) is running to the airport and then realizing I'm missing my......... (insert random important document).

The other night I dreamed that I'd lost my ticket between my home town and Sydney airport, so had to cancel the whole trip. I woke up feeling upset, and then realised it's an e-ticket anyway. And then realised it was a dream anyway.
Usually when I dream of being in India, I'm wandering around Delhi and speaking perfect Hindi. No idea if the Hindi in my dream would actually make sense, but everyone in my dream understands it, and that's the important thing, right? ![]() |
