Hi everybody,
there is only one week left until i'll be off to delhi i'll be going delhi-chandigarh-shimla-dharmsala-amritsar-varanasi-kalcutta and would like to have a "small villages" tour in between. Go by train to then next village, walk around, have something to eat and take the bus to the next village... Can anybody pls. give me some suggestions what area to choose? I'm thinking abou somewhewere between varanasi and calcutta, probably buy a used bicycle and forget about the trains/buses. Can you find some sort of hotel/bed in the Villages off the beaten track? Did anybody do something like this before - what happended? counting the days phil |
