Question Snow in May

I am new to this forum and have not travel much.

Since my last year visit to North Sikkim I got interest in travelling.

Due to some constarints I can only travel in second week of May to fourth week of May. Could anyone suggest where can I get some snow at that time ???

We want to spend a week in a secluded place where we do not have to do tough trekking to enjoy snow.
1-2 hours small trek from the guest house is welcome.

Our prime intention is to enjoy the knee deep snow.

Keenly waiting for suggestions.....
