Serah's Farm - 28 km south of Kochi
visited this place the other week. great fishing village tour with canoe ride bringing one to an in development homestay (currently sleeps 2 people - future for 4 more divided into two huts). this place is great - tons of wildlife, a pet kite, and fresh fish/prawns from chinese net. inquire to Saj Homestay for info.

well ok - no elephants or tigers or large mammals there ! ;-) situated about a kilometer from the sea inlet provides great bird and fish watching/[catching] right on the doorstep. saw all three types of kingfishers, parrots and parakeets, blue back birds, salamanders all from the hut .. while eating fish and prawns caught just minutes before. and due to saltier waters, tons less mosquitos.
