one day travel outside delhi

hi all,

am new to this forum and like you all, got hooked.

As many of you are veterans of travel, i would like your help in preparing list of places that a person based in Delhi can do in a day.

Well, i mean for people like me who go through the weekly grind at work and get only one day off per week. So, without taking any additional holiday,one can do a lot of places.

For example, if a person is off on Saturday, he/she ca leave the city on friday night, travel to the destination of choice, explore it for a day and return on Sunday morning back to work.
Similar plan can be made for ppl off on Sunday,, who can leave on saturday night and return Sunday late evening or Monday morning to resume duties.

the travel might be hectic, but its better than wasting the weekly off, watching TV or making a customary round to market.
