New road opened in Ladhak ?
A new road connecting Khalsar in Nubra valley and Sakti(on the way to pangong lake) via the wori La pass has apparently been made functional. This road by-passes leh and kharungla.

The Khalasar-Wari La-Sakti is an existing road. Around 60 kms. Saves you almost 70 kms from Nubra V to Pangong Tso instead of travelling via K La, Leh and Karu. Khalasar is 25 kms from Desikit, and Sakti is 11 kms from Karu.
