Netrani/Pigeon island

Hi!

I´ve heard about an island off the coast of Karnataka (Netrani/Pigeon island) - is it possible to go snorkelling there?
It should be close to Turtle Bay Resort. And what about Devbagh resort close to Karwar.
I´ve also heard about murky waters - it´s it worth it?

stayed at turtle bay last year, saw no snorkelers. Truth be told, it was pretty boring there, and the accomodation was, how shall i say this . . in my country we'd call it "ghetto." Instead of being simple it was shoddy, if you know what I mean.

ERROR !!!!!!!!!

There's an island off of Kharwar with a turtle rock formation, and I thought this turtle bay was it, but it isnt.
THEREFORE-cancal everything I just posted, it applies to some other place, whichwas uninspiring to have its name completely erased from my memory.

Devbagh island off Karwar is beautiful. I have been there.

Jungle lodge Resorts has a property called 'Devbagh beach resort' and Great Outdoors also has a island property.

The facilities and the water sports are good here. But, no diving / snorkelling etc.

People can reach Murudeshwar Temple and catch boat for Netrani there. I found Netrani an amazing place for Snorkeling and Scuba diving. It will be very costly for 2-5 people go as boat booking all the way to Netrani will become very costly.
