Smile location map 2 villages near Jaipur

Hi - I am looking for a location map showing a village about 1 hour drive south from central Jaipur called Pawalia

The other one is called Charanwala which is near Diggi Road, also South of Jaipur - maybe it's too much to ask of Google, but I would appreciate anyone's help with some links.
Thank you. Irene

Hi Irene, forget google maps, the site you want is mapmyindia.com, it's far more detailed when it comes to Indian villages.

For Pawaliya, search for "Pawaliya, Jaipur, Rajasthan" to show the map.

Charanwala is not so easy, but I did find an "Acharanwala, Jaipur, Rajasthan" which is south of Jaipur near Diggi Malpura Road - so you'd best check the spelling of the place you're looking for, and if it's prefixed by an "A" you'll know you've found it.

The following maps are old (1955) but very detailed, they are also massive, so don't attempt to open them if you have a dial-up connection.

Here's the map you want...

ng 43-07 Jaipur & south.

1 square is about 9km.

These maps often use old names.

Good luck.
