You must not miss Cherrapunjee if you are visiting Shillong. Cherrapunjee is only 56km from Shillong. You will enjoy your trip to this place. The sceneries on the way are very beautiful and you reach your first spot soon. Sunny days are best but cloudy days will make you feel as if you are entering a cave. Start early and enjoy this thinly populated place by venturing into every nook and corner of the tourist spots you arrive at. I have described the Cherrapunjee tour in more details in my blog : http://neindiatravelinfoupdate.blogsp ot.com. You will find there some photos . I have visited Cherrapunjee 3 times, but still I want to see the mesmerizing waterfalls again and again.
