Hi! Iam Hatim.
We always go to beaches in Konkon. The beaches are clean and beautiful. Murud - Janjeera , is the the best beach and Ganpatiphule near Ratnagari is the Maditarian of Konkan. |

Two of the most beautiful beach and yet unknown beaches are one of Devgad.....this is a very small beach.....but a picture perfect beach....Tucked away in a small corner of the Devgad fort.
and Other is the Anjarle beach....I just love the entire place ...it is again picture perfect and tailor made for the word idyllic |

I have few queries if any one can provide the answer it would be of great help to me. 1] Is it right on the beach with direct beach access like MTDC. 2] Are the rooms with attached bath ? Are the rooms & bath room clean ? 3] What is the tariff per night ? Thanks Ronak. |

Goa To Mumbai along the coast
I did a bike trip all along the coast from Goa to Mumbai some years ago & it was amazingly beautiful ..this is the route I followed...
Goa to mumbai along the coast- 1) From arambol in Goa rode to kiranpani jetty and loaded the bike in a ferry and crossed over to aronda in maharshtra ,drove to malvan via reddi, shiroda ,mochemad , vengurla ,parule . 2)from malvan rode towards vijaydurg via achra ..before vijaydurg there is a diversion called Padel Fata(turn right from here) and came to Vagothan jetty(sindhudurg district)..loaded the bike on a ferry @ vagothan and came down to Nanhar jetty (Rajapur taluka--district--ratnagiri)..rajapur is 25kms from here. 3) from nanhar jetty rode down to Jaitapur jetty (25kms).at jaitapur loaded the bike on aferry and crossed over to nate jetty (ratnagiri district....ratnagiri is 50kms from here.) 4) from Nate rode to ratanagiri , through purangad and pawas and reached ratnagiri ..from ratnagiri rode to ganpatipule(60kms)..from ganpatipule drove via Malgund to Khandala ....from khandala drove to Jambari jetty . ( jaigad is further down).loaded the bike on aferry a Jamabri jetty and crossed over to Jambari Kudli on the other side 5)fromJambari Kudli drove to hedvi (14kms) ..and then drove to Guhagar (30kms)...( guhagar to chiplun is 40kms)..from guhagar drove to Veldur jetty (14kms )..@ Veldur Jetty loaded the bike on the ferry and crossed over to Dabhol.. from Dabhol drove to Dapoli (25kms) and from dapoli rode to Murud (harne) (15kms) .. 6)left Murud @8.00 a/m and drove toVESHVI jetty (20km)-(2KMS before Bankot--further ahea.... of bankot is Velas ) via Kelshi .....loaded the bike in aferry @ Veshvi jetty and crossed over to Bhagmandla ( Raigad District) 7)from Bhagmandla drove via harihareshwar to Shreevardhan(25kms ) and from here drove down to Dighi jetty (18kms from shreevardhan)...loaded the bike on aferry@ Dighi and crossed over to Agardanda jetty .. from Agardanda rode across Murud and Alibaug and reached the Revas jetty. 8) loaded the bike on aferry @ Revas jetty and reached Bhau cha Dhakka ( Ferry wharf) in Mumbai. |

Out of Murudh, Ganpatipule and Tarkali the best one is Tarkali beach. MTDC is the best bet and try and get a cottage.... the only problem with Tarkali is the day when the Deccan Odyssey stops... all residents tend to get ignored for a good couple of hours - the entire resort staff is at the beck and call of that tour group.......the MTDC resport in Tarkali as such does not serve beer but they got that out along with their best china when the Odyssey arrived.... pretty irritating if you ask me...but then we managed to sneak in a few beers ourselves as well.
