Beaches Mumbai to Goa

Ive just been back from off the beaten path in the konkan living in the villages and it was a real soul searching experience .

One place I need to go back and visit is Amboli and check out the wildlife

Amboli was if I'm honest a bit of a let down, a nice wee place to be sure but so much of South Goa is much much nicer!

Very little to do or see!

hey guys...tarkarli is a great beach on the malvan coast n 7-8 kms from malvan town ..had been there in nov 2004 ...i stayed in a tent facing the backwaters n behind my tent was a hillock behindf which was a long stretch of beach..its a really long n wide beach....must have developed a bit now

We went to Vengurla on Sunday. Small market in town then lunch overlooking the deserted beach. Nobody in sight.

i had 2 stop over at vengurla for a nite coz i didnt get the connecting bus to goa ..it was a small sleepy town but didnt go to da beach though

hi I did a bike trip from Goa -to mumbai along the coast last month.. starting from arambol-..taking a ferry @ Kiranpani in goa and crossing over @ Aronda in maharshtra ..then drove down along the coast to Malvan ..from malvan I drove down along the coast to Ferry whary in Mumbai (BHAU CHA DHAKKA ) but had to load my bike seven different times in a ferry to reach Mumbai...but it was an amazingly beautiful trip ...there are a few trekkers who have walked along the coast from Mumbai to Goa aswell visiting all the Sea-Forts on the way..cheers
