Beach in Karnataka - laid back please

Hello
I´m looking for quiet laid back beaches in Karnataka. Gokarna is beautiful, and the beaches around it, but now that they are building a complex on ohm beach, this kind of scares me. So now where to go if you wan´t a quiet, but not deserted beach.

Any ideas?
All the best
