Bhubaneshwar -> Konark -> Puri - cab fare ?

Hi, can anyone tell me about cab/auto fare from Bhubaneshwar to Konark and from Konark to Puri. I will be staying at Konark so will need transport on two separate days.

Is there any good bus service between Bhubaneshwar and Konark?

Also, can I find transport from Konark to Puri easily?

Cabs are normally available on Per Km basis with minimum 200 kms per day. Based on this it will cost around 1000-1200 a day. Ordinary buses are available to Bhubaneshwar and Puri.

In March 2011, I booked a Taxi from Puri to Bhubaneshwar- Sakhigopal-Konark and back to Puri same day, paid about Rs 1100 as I remember.

Only private buses are available in above places and their frequency could be less, hence your waiting time could be more.They may not keep their promised schedule of departure or arrival and may be sometimes over crowded (could be a problem if you are with luggages and family).

You may like to check for package tours by Orissa Tourism. They seem to be much better now than few years back !!
