What is the best tandoori/kebab place in Mumbai at the moment

Hi everyone
my first post here after some lurking
I'm off to Bombay this Friday. I have never been there so I am wondering if anyone can recommend a really good Tandoori/kebab place. I especially like these "green" chicken kebabs, can't remember the name of the main spice that colours them - could it be it is methi?
Cheers Gordon

I agree. There at 145 M.G. Rd.., Fort
Reservations required, tel: 22/2267-3228

A restaurant at the Grand Maratha Sheraton at the airport called Peshwari also gets good reviews.

Another option would be Delhi Darbar at Colaba opp Regal, Bade Miya is awesome, another quick bit joint would be Ayubs at Fort behind KalaGhoda. A more formal sit down joint would be Peshwari as pointed out by Ananda2193 or Gallops at Mahalaxmi Racecourse. You would need a reservation out there as it gets preety full

the Kyber gets a mention in vikram chandra's new potboiler "Sacred Games."

So look for Gangstas and Filmi types

Also the ITC Grand Central in Parel can also be considered as a good option for Tandoori Kebabs etc.. It has cuisine from Bukhara and Dumphakt restaurants of ITC.
