Wedding Question!
someone who got married recently, tell me, is going the Gymkhana/Outdoors kinda wedding cheaper or going to a regular 5 star. assuming your expecting 600 guests?

confused about the question.
If you are asking if a Gymkhana/outdoor kind of wedding is cheaper than a wedding in a five star hotel for 600 guests, I would say no. Specially if there is booze thrown in, though both allow corkage. |

Well Skinny what i know in turf / gymkahna like pari etc.. the rent for the place is quite high as is pre-booked usualy 1 year in advance at time (for peak marriage season), For decor and cattering its depends from place to place, some have fixed people to choose from rest its thrown open. Whereas in a 5 star the cost of plate is preety high which takes care of the rental but not the decor. If you looking for booking it some time for the near future, you might find it difficult to book the grounds. From my personal exp i prefer the ground and coming to the cost it works out to be more or less similar. The benefit you have is you can do a lot of adjustment in paying the bill which is less in a 5 star. I hope u know what i mean...
cheers |
