Weather in Dec.

Hi! We'll be in Mumbai & Pune the last two weeks of December. What are the average daytime & nightime temps? Does it get cold at night (when sleeping)?

Wondering what clothes to pack...do we need alot of long-sleeve shirts? How about sweaters. We are taking a small 2 1/2 y.o. child...what should we pack for her?

Thanks!

Bombay weather in Dec would be about 25-30 degress Celcius by day dropping to 17-22 by night though occassionally it drops to 11 for a few days in late Dec and Jan. Bomabyites seldom waer sweaters except to air them a couple of times a year.
Pune is around 20 -25 by day buit can drop to 4-8 degrees at night. Sweaters are necessary at night and early mornings. For the small child do plan on having adequate protection. This part of India you would rarely find heaters in your room. Hotels provide blankets etc. for the night
