Hey, I really appreciate your advice and concern. Since I come from the country with the largest population, I have no problem to squeeze with the people. But after reviewing the pic, I realize the situation is worse than here. So I will stay in the lady's compartment in order to stay away from all troubles. Unless the situation is really unbearable, I will walk out the station and take a taxi/rickshaw. Can I :-)

Thank you again.

yes, the situation is usually worse than it looks when it comes to traffic, crowds and transportation.

you can also try Buses. other than rush hour you might be a little more comfortable.

dont let it scare you. most people are usually quite helpful, so if you ask someone who dosent look like a creep for some directions etc you should be allright.

Well, if you find it too much to get into one of the local trains then just cross over to the other side of the train station (called Andheri West) and get into one of the local buses for a long ride into the city which may take a little less than two hours but on an airconditioned BEST bus #A1 or #A2 it will be pretty comfortable. It will cost you less than Rs75 for the whole journey. Or the regular bus #4 Ltd or #84 Ltd will cost about Rs15 till the last stop which is where you have to get off. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Aadil.
