Mumbai

1) Its very very crowded

2) If you have not seen the local train station at Dadar at peek hour (morning or evening) you have not seen Mumbai!

3) Night life is good...better than the day

this time it should be the 2nd summer in mumbai

Being used to Delhi roads and avenues, I was really surprised how congested Delhi looked the first time was there..

If you're staying in a mid range hotel or cheaper: don't pay the hotel to get yor taxi to the airport when you leave. Never fails, I always pay too much, the vehicle shows up...a mess, roping up the luggage on top, etc, etc.

1. The nightlife.
2. Different nationalities of cuisine.
3. That bottle shops aren't places of "taboo" in Bombay.

its tooooo crowded
be weary of the boys giving u stuff on the street..even though they say that its offering from their prayer
do not opt for a 2-3 star hotel...rather save up little more and go with a 4 or 5 star hotel.

1- four star hotels should be prefered coz 2 star ones are just for name sake..
2- travel atleast once by the mumbai local... trust me its quite adventurous
3- go for the newy introduced call for cab service in mumbai and dont opt for cabs arranged by your hotel guy.

Buy the Times food guide for mumbai, th nightlife guide comes complementary. Quite helpful and costs only Rs.125
