The best and cheapest way to go to Alibaug

Hi friends!
This was not my first trip to Kasid (you know the only beach near Mumbai where you can actually bath). Last time I went there in an Enfield bike. Of course it was a nice trip. But his time it was much more entertaining.

Because this time I went there by Ferri. And no, its not from Gateway of India. It was from 'BHAU CHA DHAKKA, the jetti Service nearest to Dockyard road.

Just in Rs. 30 you can travel from Town to Alibaug! and in 1.5 hours! Isn't it amazing?

While The Gateway of India ferri service will drop you at Mandua Jetti, The Bhau Cha Dhakka feri seervice will drop you at Revas Dhakka, 4 kelometers before Mandua. From there you can ride a bus, Vikram (Rs 15 more) or you can arrange your own transport up to Alibaug. From there you can take a bus to Kasid..

And the best part of this Ferri service is it is not at all polluted by popcorn brand tourists. So you can enjoy a peaceful ride watching a variety of ships and occasional friendly sea gulls.

This is all very well, but it is so much more convenient with ones own vehicle. By the way, is it very hot and crowded yet?
