Tennis in Bombay

Anyone wants to play tennis in Bombay? Maybe just a couple sets in the evening or the weekend? I've been looking for a decent player since I moved back to India.

It all depends where you live. I know of tennis at goregaon sports club near mindspace and at 4 bungalows at the tennis academy. These are the places you will always find some one for some good tennis. A lot of guys like my brother play squash too.

Oh, I was referring to central and southern bombay, not the suburbs. Clubs like Willingdon, Bombay Gym, CCI, NSCI ??

I'll be in mumbai this summer and have been wondering where I'll find some tennis. Thinking of joining a club in Juhu. Drop me a private message and lets start talking.

Place to play tennis Mumbai :

1. MLTSA ( maharashtra lawn tennis association ) this is in colaba also.

At the suggestion of a serious tennis player from Mumbai who currently lives abroad, I was told to go there to play when visiting. Btw my trip is in August, tennis players feel free to get in touch...

bandra

Hey Sony,

Bandra gym. It's a private club and they do sometimes give out memberships.. Let me know if you want me to make some enquiries.

I've heard that The Club in andheri also has pool and tennis facilities.

Cheers.

hi

thanks again!

i think bandra would be closer home..
can you let me know the details?
i dont know how long i am gonna be here, so am ok with short term membership. last i heard there was a long waiting list, so didnt even attempt to enquire with the club.
i am guessing you mean bandra gymkhana.. or am i confusing it with khar gymkhana..i think i had enquired with the khar one over phone.

Hi Sony,

So let me call them and ask and I'll let you know.

Also, what's short term for you - 1m/3m/6m/1y?

and give me a shout if you feel like hitting some balls. Guests are allowed!
