Depends on how far you go!!! It depends on the kilometers you travel and the meter also takes into account the waiting time at traffic lights, etc. into account automatically. The minimum for a black and yellow taxi is Rs14 for the first 1.6 kilometers and then increases by Re1 approximately. Hope this helps.
Cheers, Aadil.

It means for every point it will be increase by RS1.5 So if you are going for 5 KMs it will cost you around 70 RS. Cool Cab (Blue-Gray Taxi with AC will charge you 1.5 more then normal rate.)
Other way is Private cab (Meru Taxi) which is charging 15 Rs for first kilometer and then 12 RS for every KMs, this is with AC and they are not including Waiting time on Trafics, so for 20 KMs it is cost you around 250 RS. http://www.mumbaionline.in/Travel/Roadways/taxi.asp Regards Rushi |
