spending the night in the international departures terminal - good idea?
My friend and I have a 7am international flight out of Mumbai and were thinking of just sleeping in the international departures terminal at the airport to avoid lodging/taxi hassles.
Has anyone done that before, and if so, how was it? Are there semi-comfortable places to curl up and sleep for a few hours, like maybe a lounge, or a bank of chairs without armrests? How about 24 hour restaurants/internet cafes/etc to keep entertained? Is it sketchy or dangerous at all? Thanks! |

I always wonder why in the world they need those darn *&(*^&^^%$ armrests on those chairs.. Maybe it is done purposefully to avoid sleeping.
I think if you are adventurous enough, you can curl out for sure.. There will be others doing it, mostly Indians but for sure you can as well. There would be a few lounging chairs but demand would be much higher than supply for sure !
