Short stay in Mumbai for a group
Hey there,
I have found this forum while browsing for accomodation to stay a group of friends about 12 ~ 15 people from 8th to 12th December 2009. We would ideally want furnished apartments that are clean and not very expensive around the Andheri (W) area as we are attending a friend's marraige in Mumbai. While google searches gave us a few options, I do not trust the credibility and reliability of these place since none of us actually live in India. Can this forum suggest some decent priced, clean apartment options for us ? Thanks. |

Thanks cupid and Nitin.
As I mentioned in my original post, I did find quite a few options available on the web, but I was looking for personalised opinions of people here who might have stayed at some of them since from experience I do not trust photographs of apartments shown on the internet and how variant they might be when we actually pay and land there. |

We don't mind spending around 1000 ~ 1200 Rs. per head a night.
That is per person for about 14 ppl. |

RS 1000 par head par night is enough and you will get well furnished Service Apartment, search in Sulekha for service apartment in Mumbai. For Andheri(W) you can get in Andheri (W), VileParle (W) or Jogeshwari-Goregaon (W), and it would be fine to visit Andheri (W).
