R U in 4 the weekend trip to UDWADA (gujarat) on 17th and 18th June '06
Hi,
We are planning a weekend trip to UDWADA (gujarat)near VAPI just 4 hrs train journey from Bombay Central on the next weekend 17th and 18th June '06. Its a silent hamlet with BUNGALOWS having old world charm by the sea side housing the most sacred FIRE TEMPLE of PARSI's hence is predominantately inhabited by PARSI's. Daman(Union Territory is only 12kms from here. It is a perfect getaway to just put up our feets and relax away from the bustle of bombay. We would most likely catch a 5.45am train from Bombay Centralon 17th June and get back by an evening train on 18th June '06. We plan to put up at an acquantances bungalow out there. The CS members who have expressed interest so far are Anil Murtaza Torsten Aarti Taher The members who are interested please revert back on my cell 9820814092, by tuesday evening 13th June'06 5.45pm, to enable the train bookings in time as it is a busy sector Anil |

The permission to stay at the bungalow has been confirmed
hi,
I have sought the permission to stay at the bungalow from my client. Hence the accomadation aspect has been taken care of. We have a choice to cook our light lunch/dinner in the kitchen there or we can have our lunch/dinner outside in the restaurants. It has a nice shade in the backyard with swings ideal for those lazy afternoons. It opens out to the beach. It would be great if any of our musically inclined members get their guitars to strum it in the court yard at night while others hum along. The bungalow is very sparsely furnished but has a old world charm of its own. As for the town it has a many abandoned houses or houses in ruins it even has an abandoned hotel by the name of "MAJESTIC HOTEL" which looks truly majestic in the sunset and anyone can go and enjoy the sunsets from there. The town has a parsi musuem too. Well the rest u'll can explore on your own. Anil |
