Public Relation Officer at Passport office Mumbai

Hi, I had applied for passport 10months ago. The status of the application shows as follows.

You are requested to call on this office and meet the Public Relation Officer, Cabin No. ( ) on any working day between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm. Please bring your original ration card/school leaving certificate/birth certificate/marriage certificate.

Kindly furnish marriage certificate or joint affidavit as per Annexure 'D' in support of your marriage proof.

Question - Where is Public relationship officer address? What do I need to take along with me?

- call the passport office & get the directions to the PRO office. in all likelihood, it should be within the same passport office itself.
- the status note clearly indicated what you need to take along with you. what more details are you looking for?

How did you check the status ? If it was online you can as well find the address or phone no. and confirm with them. Most probably it is at Bengal Chemical- Nera Century Bhavan-Worli.

Such notification is seen when documents are incomplete.
Go the the passport office. There is a long que for enquiry. Give them your application no, they will diagonise the problem. Then they will direct you to the PRO assigning a cabin no. Visit him, he will ask for documents, take along xerox of it and sumbit it to him.

I had similar problem with my address proof. I got it sorted out at Worli passport office.(Bengal chemicals i guess)
