AFAIK, there are no Factory Outlets in India that sell discounted, off season clothes. There are no seasons in India (other than wet ans dry). International branded clothes in India are expensive compared to the US. Well, anywhere in the worlsd is usually more exonsive than the US these days.

Your only chance of getting cheap authentic branded clothes are to find export rejects. These are clothes made by an Indian manufacturer for a foreignlabel, buut never got exported for various reasons. Such as, excess items, the failed to pass inspection by the brand etc. They are usually sold off by the manucaturer wholesale by weight. Middlemen purchase them and re-distribute them and they can be found in some low end stored. Sometimes they will have the label on, sometimes the labels will be cut off due to the manufacturer's agreement with the brand.

Back from the trip and I must say that Goa was nice, but Mumbai not so nice . Due to the heat and hassle I decided to do shopping only at showrooms which were ok. Although the models are not all the same the brands sell in Europe. The models they sell in India are mostly "not so up-to-date" Prices were low for Levis, Lacoste, Tommy Hillfiger etc at Bandra. One shop that I must promote is HUM India at 61 Hillroad (Bandra). They had many western brand clothes with latest models. I bought G-star leather jacket (70€), Abercrombie & Fitch shirts (7€), Tommy Hillfiger Jeans (20€). They had also "buy 3, get 4th for free" campaing From that shop it was very easy to find many nice brands under one roof.

Yeah, the HUM was a quite new shop. They had clips from various local newspapers where they had news about local celebrities shopping at HUM "for the latest western fashions"

I think the poster was talking about the fashion seasons when he said this, instead of the climatic seasons.

Ah.

Though there is a lot of winter fashion, too, in places like Delhi, judging by the silk and pashmina -and Armani on display. Not to speak of the western branded jackets, windcheaters and pullovers/sweaters, (both real and off the pile at Janpath )
