one night stay closer to mumbai airports

I am arriving late on one nigtht (international flight) and my connecting flight(domestic) is next day afternoon. I need to stay one night closer to domestic or international aiport. Any recommendation?

I am thinking of Hotel Airport International but it is bit expensive. Any reviews on this?

I am also planning to do some shopping (clothes, ornaments etc) before taking the domestic flight nextday. Any recommendation on that as well.

Thanks in advance

Choose a hotel or guest house in Vile Parle East which is the area closest to the domestic airport. Alternately choose Santacruz East or West. The airport is in the East.

What time is your flight? Make sure you get there at least 1hr earlier unless you have web checked in.

Vile Parle West and Santacruz West [better] have a huge selection of shops and stalls at all budgets situated in the station market area. You will get plenty of clothes, ornaments and much, much more. Nothing really opens before 10 am so bear this in mind to calculate when you need to reach the airport.

Thanks in advance
Hope this helps.

Try the Hotel Highway Residency at Bamanwada near Chakala Cigarette Factory on the Andheri Sahar Road. It is midway between the international and domestic terminals and they also have a free pick up (not dropping facility) and the room rates are not too high too (in the range of around Rs1500 to 2500). Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Aadil.
