Need a Lodge / Low-end Hotel in Mumbai

Hi ppl,

a cousin of mine is going to Mumbai from 23rd Dec to 2nd Jan with his girlfriend. They are looking for a Lodge / Low end hotel to have a safe and comfortable stay. Any help / info wud be great !

You can try the Hotel New Bengal at Crawford Market near the CST station. It has good, clean rooms at around Rs650 for a double room with attached bath or much less with common bathrooms. It is a good place to stay in with no frills but better airconditioned rooms are also available for higher prices. Their website is www.biryas.com. Hope this helps.

Myself and 4 other friends are staying in Mumbai for a couple of weeks to a month in Feb so i have been on the exact same search and came across some good threads.

Would normally recommend the Benazeer to most people but the OP wants a cheap lodge or hotel so this was a bit higher at around Rs1000.

Guys, my friends are looking at a 9 to 11 day stay.
Benazeer wud be a touch too expensive...

How about some places in Andheri or Bandra, anybody has any idea on them. I guess 500-600 is the max they are looking at per day.

anyone knows abuot a ghuest house or a lodge in parel or powai? looking for a really cheap one, around 500rs per double room. am a foreigner, my prob with most of parels guest houses is they dont allow foreigners or they r only reserved for patients. at powai i havent found any at all... please please help!
