Question National Park - Borivali

Greetings,

I am planning a trek to Borivali national park. The thing is, to get into national park is simple, but to stay in that lodge and to trek ahead from there requires a permit and also a guide.

Does anyone here have any clue about what can be done in order for us to get the permission and guide to trek inside the park.

Please lemme know

Amit

Permit huh ? I been there 5 times this year !
There are certain area in the forest which are off limits and need written permission to visit (wirtten permission is only given if you are from the BHNS etc) .As far as I know the forest lodges have been discontinued or are for vip/mlas only (a trekking group tried to book it last year and could not)

Its 20 Rupees at the entrance per person (vehicle extra) then you can go on the tar/concrete road till kanheri caves ,where you need to buy another ticket(foreigners have to pay extra ). No other permit or guide is required. There are also buses from the park to the gaves (no idea about their timings as a always walk it!!

Here are some pics from last sunday. The rains made the trek awesome
