Domestic Airport to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus ...... 45 minutes.
Airport to Dadar station ...... 30 to 45 minutes depending on peak hour traffic. Mumbai Central to Airport ...... 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic and peak hours. Private A/C / sleeper/ non-sleeper Bus from CST or Dadar to Aurangabad at 2030 / 2200 hours. Hope this helps. Cheers, Aadil.

You can land up at Dadar near the Pritam Hotel just outside the Dadar Head Post Office where there are a lot of travel agents on the corner. They will gladly do the booking for you. The bus may or may not leave from there but they will ask you to go to the place where it will depart from or send someone to guide you there.
Cheers, Aadil. |

My plan is to fly from Bangalore to arrive in the evening and take a bus same night to travel to Aurangabad OR Jalgaon. Is it possible to arrange bus this way?

Hi Capt.
For your trip to Aurangabad, you can book online on www.rajnationalexpress.in. They run airconditioned Volvo buses on this route. |

I would recommend going by train as it is much more comfortable as well as cheaper too. The night trains are the best option as you have a choice of two trains running on different days at around 9pm and midnight. Both these trains are pretty fast and reach Aurangabad early in the morning so that you are fresh to explore the caves or the city when you get there. By bus you will definitely not feel fresh enough to go sight seeing in the morning.
Alternatively you can now book online bus tickets for some buses on the common website called www.redBus.in for simple and safely printed tickets payable by credit card. I have used the site and it is quite good to buy even last minute tickets. Cheers, Aadil. |
