Right now there is one luxury cruise for Mumbai to Goa.
Super Star Libra. Some 10 years back one hovercraft service used to operate from Mumbai to Goa but was not a sucess & was closed down. Ronak. |

The only boat is the cruise ship Super Star Libra which is not really worth it if you want to go to Goa on a boat and for the five star luxuries as it is usually only about a couple of days for the whole package deal. For those who are going for only a day or two it is fine if they have a lot of money to spend on such comforts. Otherwise it is not worth going by this cruise liner. Also it is not a permanent or regular service and not known till when it will be in operation. The other services closed down a long time ago as they were not so profitable, I guess. Hope this helps.
Cheers, Aadil.

Try the Low Cost Airlines.
http://www.airdeccan.net/airdeccan/home.asp http://www.spicejet.com/ http://www.goair.in/ Or they can take the Jan Shatabdi Express from Dadar (Mumbai) to Thivim or Madgaon. They have Ac Chair Car Cost Rs. 500 = 600 (Approx.) Less disocunt for Senior citizens (I don't know whether foreign citizens get the same). The train leaves Dadar at 5.30 AM & reaches thivim at approx. 1.00 PM & Madgaon At 2.00 PM. Ronak. |
