if you've got quite a bit of time - Grand Hyatt is close to the airport. They do great massages and once you've had one you can hang around and use the pool (Spa is next to pool area). makes for a very luxurious few hours, would be nice in a stopover..! Massages start at about 1900rupees though so they're not cheap...

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare dream of meeting your heart's longing.

I'm in a similar situation as OP. On my last day in India, I arrive back in mumbai at 11.00 am, and don't need to be at airport until midnight. Was hoping to find hotel that I can use swimming pool as a day guest, to chill out before flight. Any ideas? I'm a solo traveller.

For anyone else interested I emailed the Hyyat Regency Hotel by Mumbai international airport. You can use their facilities as part of this package.....

The Gateway Package is priced at INR 3499 all inclusive of taxes:

• Use of steam, sauna and jacuzzi at Club Prana Spa

• Use of Fittness Centre until midnight and pool until 22:00 hrs

• One way airport transfers

• Buffet Lunch or Dinner at Glasshouse

Quite expensive (£42), but it will save me booking a hotel for my last day/evening in Mumbai and should be a nice chillout before flight home. Including a meal.

Hotel Sea Princess in Juhu is one of the cheaper options.

Not sure what the exact price is, but definitely cheaper than the five stars at the airport. And with added bonus of overlooking the sea.

Thanks for that sannna, I've just emailed the hotel. They do allow casual use of the swimming pool for 500rps. Until 8pm. Ideal! Thanks
