An idea of budget would help in Mumbai members recommending something.
Closest would be, well, Andheri West. Look at Versova, 7 Bungalows, Oshiwara too. Generally, going North will be cheaper..Malad is one option. and going South more expensive. But do mention the budget (11 months rental advance is common in Mumbai) and also if there are other considerations, like schools etc. Things to do and places to hang out are aplenty, and can be expensive... what are your interests? |

30/40k is a good budget.
As to the how, it can be a minefield sp. if you are not used to it. Browse this forum for more. Best way is through local contacts then newspapers websites like 99acres.com, magicbricks.com and others, but people ask for too much there then real estate 'agents' (unethical touts in many cases) |

I am hoping to move to Mumbai in beginning of October I am coming from England. Obviously cheaper to share, and would be nice to have some company.I'll be working for a production company.
Look forward to your reply! Do not mind where really in Mumbai as long as accessible for transport... maybe Bandra... |
