Some of the good hotels in the South Mumbai area in the price range of about Rs1500 to Rs2000 and bookable on the internet are
Residency Hotel (www.residencyhotel.com), Railway Hotel (www.hotelrailway.com), Shelleys Hotel (www.shelleyshotel.com). Sorry that the Shelleys is booked already, but then most hotels in Mumbai at this time are booked. There are a lot of hotels in the Juhu area too but not all are really nice if the price is cheap!!! So I would suggest you stay at the hotels that are a bit more expensive than have a bad experience in the cheaper places. Hope this helps. Cheers, Aadil.

HOTEL harbourview
Hey.. Mumbai is a bit wild I agree. I would recommend a place called Hotel Harbourview. It's on the 3rd and 4th floors above the Strand Hotel (a stones throw from the Gate to India)..
The rooms are super clean and the staff is friendly. Double room cost around 1700 IR Hope that helps Happy Trails |

I spoke with the concierge over the phone and told him my budget.
He requested 2400, I said it was beyond my budget and I said my budget was 1500 IR. We agreed on 1500 IR + the ever changing tax which this time was 20%. Sorry, that makes it 1800 vs previously stated 1700. Great place though!! |

Surprising because the tax is always only 10% for such hotels!!! HAHAHA!!! But I guess you got a good deal still at Rs1800.
Hope you enjoyed your stay in my city!!! Cheers, Aadil. |
