Mumbai CST

I,m arriving at CST in the early hours after a 12 hour journey - assuming train is on time. I'm not familiar with the station and don't fancy roaming about looking for a pre paid taxi booth being hastled by hoards of taxi drivers.

None of the usual guide books I've looked at mention where the pre paid taxi booth is located. Is it inside or outside the station ? Is there a landmark or specific platform I could look for ? Advice please

You don't really need pre-paid taxi because you can just go by the meter.
Mumbai is not like other tourist places, it is a lot more disciplined.

Just go out of the station gate (Towards BMC building) and you will find taxis on the road. Just sit in any yellow/black taxi and call your destination. Meter down and there you go.

PS: Before making the payment, make sure you ask em to show the tariff rate card for meter reading.
