Mumbai city areas?

Hello!
My trip to Mumbai is getting closer and I would like to ask you about the city areas of Mumbai. Do you know good Mumbai maps on the internet? For example, is New Mumbai (or Navi Mumbai or something like that) an area of Mumbai? I have got some addresses and so on so I would like to know a little about the Mumbai city system. What else could you tell me? Is the city cut in areas, sectors or so?
Thanks in advance, this forum is so helpful!

Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai is a newly developed satellite city built across the harbour in order to decongest Mumbai. It has what you would call sectors numbered so & so etc.

Mumbai the old city HAS NO SECTORS. It has areas named like VT, Churchgate, Bandra, Andheri, and so on....

A good map is by Eicher : The Mumbai City map. It also gives Navi Mumbai ... but not in minute detail [yet][they said they will print it].

I'll echo and amplify what AvidTrekker wrote: The Eicher map is good. It is in fact indispensible. It's presented in book form, so you have to figure out what page(s) you want by looking at an overview map at the front, but once you're on the right page, so to speak, the detail and accuracy are excellent. And you don't have to worry about folding a huge awkward map up when you're finished. You can pick up a copy at better bookstores, like Oxford in Churchgate or Strand Bookstall just off Sir P.M. Road in Fort (near the Bombay Store).

Just to reinforce, the Eicher maps are awesome, they’re more than just a great map, there full of useful info.

There available outside India too, I got the Delhi one in Stanfords in London, they also had Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore (I think).

Have a look at the best travel shop in your own country, you never know.

Wholeheartedly agree with all the above posters regarding Eicher's city maps. I also second iyou's suggestion of trying Strand Book Stall - its a wonderful bookshop with courteous, helpful staff; and a minimum discount of 20% is offered on any book.

Thanks for the recommendings. I guess I'll by an Eicher Mumbai map when I arrive to Mumbai, I'm pretty sure that here in Finland I'm not able to get one. I've been to the best book stores here and there was about 5 travelling guide books about India, nothing else. Though I've been mistaken before, too!
