Mumbai Airport to CST - Time?
Mumbai Airport to CST - Time?
Hello IMers!
I am developing an itinerary for my first trip to India and have a fairly specific question regarding Mumbai. Could anyone give me an idea as to how much time I should allow for traveling between the airport and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus? I have heard that traffic is quite heavy and want to be sure and allow myself enough time to make a transfer between the two. Thanks in advance for any replies and thanks to all the contributors who have made this forum such a wonderful resource.

Please disregard this thread and if a mod would care to delete it that would be just fine.
As soon as I posted the question I found an identical thread not far down the page.
My apologies.

Err, to add to that thread, one suggestion. Do search for member aadil's post about the route to take (via JJ flyover is the shortest). Aadil has a detailed post(s) somewhere.
That route is much better, sp. for CST than going via Worli/Haji Ali.
PS: Here it is
Mumbai - Airport to Fort

Yep
Was in Mumbai for a day recently; remembered the JJ flyover thing when I was stuck in a Haji Ali traffic jam at 2pm.
Umm, I had asked the cabbie to go that way, reliving old times.

Well, for old time's sake it is better to pay more and also get stuck in traffic!!! Hope you did not have to pay too much due to the traffic jam.
Cheers,
Aadil.
