mumbai airport shuttle to domestic airport

Hi!
I have a question: I will be arriving in Mumbai airport from Bangkok at 22:20pm. My flight to Goa leaves 05:00 am the next morning.

this free shuttle to the domestic airport. Is this before or after you collect your luggage? If its before, is there a chance to get there also after collecting your luggage?

Will the aiport be totally empty or are there many people in a similar situation.

The shuttle leaves the Int. terminal after you collect your luggage but before you exit into the main arrivals hall. As far as i'm aware it's free. I'll be in a similar situation on Wednesday night. Arriving at midnight and catching an internal flight at 6:00 am. I did it a few years back and i can remember chatting to several people who were also waiting, the terminal was quite busy from 3 onwards.

There is a huge line of folks waiting and both the airports are pretty busy at this time. The lounge/rest was open as well and you can have some tea and stuff.

The domestic airport has some rooms on the second floor which they do rent out. I spent couple of hours there when i had to wait for my International flight. The only way you can get this is by talking to the Airport manager..the charges were pretty reasonable. I got to share the room with attached bathroom. Humm now I wonder whether the rooms were at the International airport.

beware of the working hours of the shuttle bus. last year we arrive around 5AM and were unable to get it so we had to take a taxi.

the airport shuttle works at 5am now, I had no problem. I hope your domestic flight is leaving from the same terminal as Jet Airways, since it's brand new-ish. The other one (Indian Airlines) is old and has no good facilities.
