The Hiranandani forest is awfully small but once in, its easy to forget you are in Mumbai.
Also try the Forest Club, on the same road - they hold dance/music classes. They also have a gym in there.

I think the best gym in Powai is One fitness. It is very well spaced out... good equipment.. 6-7 treadmills... 3 cross trainers... each with a LCD TV fitted in front of it...another 3 elliptical machines.. a few cycles... and excellent trainers. They have a variety of membership packages you can choose from. Although it's slightly expensive, I'd say its worth the money. My wife has been going there for more than a year and is very happy with the place.
You can also bargain and get some other activity for a month or so free- power yoga/ kickboxing/ spinning.
Go for it dude!
The Carewell Fitness opened just outside Raheja is pretty crammed and trainers seemed to be quite lousy. My wife didn't feel like going to take a trial there leave alone joining that gym.

Amazing that anyone can think of that as a 'forest'. It's the view from our apartment, I always thought it was called Jogger's Park. It is nice, just a shame there are so many stray dogs. My kids are afraid to go there... Similar Threads
