Madanpura
I was just reading Maximum City by Suketu Mehta for like the 3rd time and was just very fascinated by Madanpura. I can't find anytime on it on Google, no pictures, etc. I even tried using "Mini-Pakistan" but nothing. Any websites even remotely focussed on this area? Where precisely is it? The map on the book shows it to the east of Mahalaxmi if I'm not mistaken.

Nope.
Madanpura is an area in Central Mumbai. Bombay Central, Mohammad Ali Road may be close landmarks. Or close enough. Also Byculla, Nagpada.. if looking for it on a map. |

Wikimapia Link
Madanpura.....
See this Wikimapia Link It is centered on Nagpada Junction. Just above the junction there is a V shaped visual of two roads going northwards. The Eastern Branch of the V heads for Madanpura . . .
