After some research, it seems there are a few ocnducted programs with telescopes et al. These are the 2 I found and am hoping to be a part of (listing in preference)

1. http://allevents.in/events/star-gazi...24600431003634

2. http://www.trekdi.com/index.php?opti...task=3&cid=185

If anyone is up for it... the more the merrier of course!
Some of my ramblings!

So after all this excitement, did anyone get to see it?

It was indeed overcast here I think, and then besides I didn't bother to look out the window much over this highly lighted city. (Who knows, may have been asleep even at that hour for a rare change.)

I managed to get a decent sighter at vangani... it was pretty clear! However I do not really have a camera with which to capture the showers (you need a DSLR with a mount to plug into the telescope) so well... its all memories

Cannot wait for the next phase of showers!
