Looking for apartment/room

Hi All,

I'm looking for a place to rent starting July 15th for at least 5 months and most likely much longer. I'm looking either for a 1 BHK or a single room in the area of Bandra or Juhu. I'm a single female, 27 years old, from NYC and I'm relocating to Mumbai for work-related reasons. If anyone has a place, or knows of someone who has a place, please contact me for more details about myself, my budget, etc. Thank you all so much for your help!

The rent listings are usually found on property websites.

You can also try some classified sites where people post their properties:

mumbai.olx.in
mumbai.quikr.com
classifieds.sulekha.com/mumbai.htm

My suggestion is try contact the owner directly and avoid property agents.

Because, they are sometimes charging you too much (2 month worth of rent , as fee) Which i personally think is exorbitant.

I will suggest that you search in Google for Bombay Home stay ot Paying Guest or Flat share. You will have plenty of options. This way I found a nice & safe accommodation in Andheri-E near International Terminal of Mumbai Airport and couple owning the premises received me at the airport. You can also search in www.letmego.com or www.expat-forum.com
