Looking for accommodation for 3 months
Just came to Mumbai a week ago and have been looking for a reasonably priced room to rent in vain. I and my partner are looking to share a flat or move into an existing place for 3 months. I work in Khetwadi so would like to live in the southern neighborhood but right now I am flexible with the location.
If there are any other people in the same situation and would like to join forces or move in together to cut the prices or anybody that needs to fill a room please give a write back. Thanks |

Bandera is about a far north as I would like to go. Ideally it would be nice to be around the Fort area but my budget allows anywhere between 10,000 and 15,000 for 2 people. I am starting to think also that maybe the paying gust might be a good option but have heard conflicting stories from people about their experiences. Any advice.
But if you know about any other hotels, hostels, guesthouses that are in the 400 range that would also be fine. Thanks for the write back |

A good budget for a paying guest in bandra would be close to around Rs. 10,000 for a single person. Would suggest you check the classified ads in the papers.
Getting a place is a real pain in MUmbai. Your best bet is to contact as many agents as you can. You have to put aside 2-3 days for this... else you will get nowhere |
