Live classical music in Mumbhai ..
HI
I will be in Mumbhai for a few days towards the end of December and would be very keen on sittting in on classical recitals. How do I go about finding out where to go ?? Are there restuarants that host live (Indian..) music around Mumbhai ... I do'nt recall seeing any places that do that ... only place that I experienced live music was in Amritser at the Ritz Plaza ... which was fabulous. |

There is a small festival at the Banganga Tank in Mumbai around the end of December, or possibly the beginning of January. It usually has first rate artists and is one of the nicest spots in Mumbai, I think. I found information about it at the tourist office by Churchgate Station. They're very helpful and you might check with the ladies there for more on this topic.
