|  Into Mumbai Hi there, Just booked my open-ended return flight. Arrive Mumbai 23rd October at 03:00. Heading to Goa. Not the ideal time I know but I think the flight was a good price (£561 from Manchester Int. UK with Qatar ) Any advice regarding hotels, transport, hazards etc whilst traveling at this time of night in Mumbai would be greatly appreciated. I am traveling with no fixed itinerary and any suggestions for a whole and fruitsome, six month oddessy (odditty ?), would also be super (....stupa, lights are gonna find me...) Thanks in anticipation (... leave it !) Psiphi Ps. No I'm not an ABBA fan .... everyone knows those words . Don't they. |

| Hotel If you want a nice hotel to stay in when you first arrive in Mumbai, head for the Harbour View Hotel. I booked this in advance. They sent a van to pick me up from the airport - flight was about 4 hours late and the bloke waited all that time in the heat. For about 25 quid you get a double with en-suite and a balcony (views across to the Gateway of India - if you're lucky) and friendly, helpful staff. |
