Hotel Residency Fort

We are looking for hotels close to Colaba, and I found this one..Hotel Residency in FOrt

1. Has anyone stayed here?
2. What has your experience been?
3. How clean is the hotel?
4. We have to stay for 20 days, and will be there for medical treatment, so want something decent.

Thanks in Advance for your help

A few members have stayed there, look in the hotel section.

I like the place, it appears to be close to nowhere, but it's only a short walk from CST or Churchgate stations, and is close to the gateway area.

We needed a doctor when we were staying there a few years ago, the doctor arrived within 10 minutes and the charge was reasonable.

I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for 20 days, it's perfect for a short stay, I just feel there will be other areas of Mumbai that will be quieter for a longer stay, but if that's the area you need/want to be in, you've chose a good hotel.

It gets booked up quick though, so book well ahead.

Most of my friends have stayed there so I can vouch for it as a nice place which is always full so please book in advance if you wish to get a room there. The other good choice for the same price (About Rs1750) is the YWCA International Center at Colaba which also serves free breakfast and dinner in the price of the room. The place also gets as full as the Residency so please book in advance. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Aadil.
