Golds Gym in Mumbai
Golds Gym in Mumbai
Hi Guys
Partner and i have a flight out of Mumbai to Los Angeles on September 22 at 2am.
We will be flying into Mumbai from Goa on September 21 at 4pm.
Instead of hanging out at the airport, we would like to head to the gym. Since we are member of Golds Gym, and there are 4 Golds Gym in Mumbai, can someone tell us which one is worth going to? Thanks

Don't know about gold gyms,
But I'm sure there's a gym in the international airport (transit lounge..).
If not most of the star hotels around the airport ALL will have gyms.

Wow, 3700 rupees is fairly cheap for a Gold's Gym chain. Just over $100 Aussie. I tried looking for a one entry price? Any listings?
Not sure mate sorry...
The gym iteslf is OK - couple of things missing like you cant buy protein shakes or anything there, there are no collars for the bench press (!)
Also what is it with the personal trainers in india? They don't have a clue.
One of the guys saw me doing some flat dumbell presses and he insisted that i do partial, i tried to explain to him that i wanted a full range of movement but the idiot was insistent that i should do half reps
i felt like saying "this is why you're so fat mate" but held back...
these guys shouldnt be walking around giving advice without knowing a) what people's goals are and b) what their weekly workout plan is
then some other gimp started telling me that i shouldnt do incline flyes, i should do pec dec. No mate, if i wanted to do pec dec i would do pec dec!!!
makes me angry.
