well sheep get slaughtered. im sure some people made a killing yesterday. i know my brother picked up some more RPL.

but it is going to be a volatile day today. i reckon people will clean house, some will cut their losses and some book their short profits.

id reckon things will calm down over the weekend and Monday should be fresh start.

Screw Analysts .......Indian market is much more mature than it used to be....

Atleast indian retail investor has become much more mature ......if the FII's stop-loss triggers are set on then what can one do

Thumbs down

Margin selling will have more to say than FII stops.
95% of retail investors haven't got a clue. They don't know how to take a loss!

FIIs are super sensitive. which is surprising considering how much they can hold.

but then again their exposures are pretty large as well.

being an integral part of the market.. heres my bit

hi,

Skinny yes it was bad day and the consequent day was also bad.. it took a lot by surprise...but fundamentally it was expected bcos the market had reached heady heights and not really corrected since last diwali.

Its a law of gravity what goes up comes down.

Albeit it should have come much earlier.

yeah it is a bit of pain in the neck recovering the client dues on such moments. But like the hindi song goes " GANDA He PAR DHANDA HE"

I dont let these things affect me a lot, as seen a few of these falls and highs since years.

Infact for a long term investor there are a lot of bargains if u dig thru the carnage. The following days fall will help the cause. So happy hunting over the weekend

Now that's what I mean by margin selling.
